In Minnesota our greatest risk for severe weather is from May through July, but severe weather can strike any time. Details of how this is accomplished are contained in the operations documents of the respective cities. The North Suburban Regional Emergency Operations Plan provides the framework that Brooklyn Park and other cities use to prepare for, respond to, recover from and mitigate the impact of a wide variety of disasters and emergency events.
